Manufacturing: Marilyn™ Connectors were designed to fit any off the mill ASTM standard pipe and tubing specifications, with minimal fabrication to be done to each finished segment they connect. Transforming the traditional process of rolling and welding, to simply cut to size and tap. Just as important as vastly reduced manufacturing costs, are the greatly accelerated lead times to fulfill any order, with no compromise on the structural integrity of the product. Unnecessary and excess material at the utmost height of poles creates both a complication in structural strength due to weight, as well as wasted and unneeded material hurting costs. Marilyn unifies the cost effective but archaic looking solution of stepped poles, and the costly but polished solution of tapered poles. Finishing such as galvanizing, powder coating and painting are no longer restricted to size restrictive kettles or ovens and can now be handled from start to finish much more efficiently.

Assembly & Shipping: Not only does manufacturing benefit from the design and construction of Marilyn, but every set of hands that touch it from factory to field. Whether a Marilyn™ pole is twenty feet tall or sixty, it ships in pieces and is ready to be loaded into any large delivery truck, making the utilization of space during shipping a non contest. Units that were once an oversized load requiring specialized shipping due to a larger sized pole being assembled in factory, can now be shipped multitudes more efficiently. Shipping is not the only facet of Marilyn that benefits from a no weld design – Unloading in the field is now a much easier and lightweight process, and once they’re offloaded it’s as simple as tightening a bolt and erecting your finished pole.

Aesthetics: Improving your standard pole in every way was our core goal with Marilyn™, and the lackluster aesthetics of the millions of currently standing poles lead us to this streamlined and modern design. ALLPOLE®’s Proprietary Handholes are just another innovative component to our marilyn pole assembly to greatly enhance ease of installation, lower manufacturing cost, and provide easier interior access for both installation and maintenance. Using our proprietary clips and custom made rubber faceplate, our handholes eliminate the need for cumbersome backing bars, and offer an aesthetic upgrade to existing steel faceplates with the added utility of custom brand embossing directly into the rubber.

PROPRIETARY FASTENERS
AND CLIPS

Our proprietary fastening clips are a staple, utility driven design to multiple components of the Marilyn pole, designed by ALLPOLE®. Designed for the highest ease of use possible, they’re fabricated from a durable springsteel that’s meant to last, while also providing ease of installation benifits to whichever component they’re utilized with.

Currently a main design fixture in our Handhole Assemblies, our spring clip allows a handhole faceplate to be installed to the handhole ring securely, quickly, and much more cost effectively to a traditional backing bar configuration.

Also utilized in our Pole Tops, our design allows a seamless installation of simply inserting, and securing into the empty pole cavity.

This is just one of many design innovations brought to every component and step to building a Marilyn Pole, no matter how small the detail.

PROPRIETARY NUTCAPS

ALLPOLE® Rubber Nut Caps are an innovative and economic solution to a widely ignored problem in the steel pole industry. While remaining comparable in cost to traditional plastic moulded nut caps, the utility, visual appeal, and most important of all the durability, far surpass that of its plastic counterpart. With upwards of over ten times the lifespan of traditional nutcaps, the high quality compression moulded rubber also provides superior safety and anti vandalism properties. This manufacturing process of compression moulded rubber allows an unprecedented level of customization to enforce branding wherever a ALLPOLE® pole may stand in various forms.

Manufactured from Ethylene Propylene diene monomer which offers excellent chemical and thermal resistance, a low compression set and is flexible at low temperatures. EPDM also offers superior resistance to ozone, weathering, sunlight and vandalism, prolonging the longevity of the product. Offering embossing directly into the crown of the nut cap allows for our custom inhouse artwork to be displayed on your order as one solitary unit, with no extra parts or attachments.
